Phd Candidate. Mai Việt Dũng Successfully Defends Doctoral Dissertation at VNU Level

On March 18, 2026, the Hanoi School of Business and Management (HSB) – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (ĐHQGHN) organized the doctoral dissertation defense at the VNU level for research student Mai Việt Dũng, majoring in Management and Sustainable Development (DMS).

The dissertation, with the topic "The Impact of Hybrid Work on the Work Performance of Generation Z Employees in Vietnam", is a topical research work, focusing on analyzing the Hybrid Work trend – a model that is increasingly popular in the context of digital transformation and post-pandemic era.

The research results show that hybrid work has a positive impact on the work performance of Generation Z employees, while also contributing to improving job satisfaction, improving communication within the organization, and creating significant changes in perceptions of career stability. In addition, the dissertation also points out the differences in how men and women experience this working model, thereby providing important management implications for businesses.

The research results not only contribute theoretically, expanding approaches in the field of human resource management and sustainable development, but also have high practical significance in supporting organizations to design flexible working policies that are appropriate to the characteristics of the young workforce.
